I am sure that I am missing something really easy here (and if so feel free to flame away) but I cant get the asx stream in mythweb to do anything. When I click on it, the screen stays on the Recorded Programs screen with no change. This is a pretty stock out of the box KM R5.5. I did enable Video Playback on the mythweb settings. Aside from that the only think I have done was to change the Mythweb port to allow access from the outside world. Does this have something to do with it? Is there some other software that I need? Or is there a log I can look at? Thanks for any help. |

I am keen to get streaming of recordings working too. Mythstreamtv used to work back in R5Fsomething but it is apparently fallen out of favor and they have some new code in there. I would appreciate it if anyone has got recordings streaming (like over the internet) working in R5.5, if they would give us some pointers. Cliff |

Did you try vlc player? The newer version support the authorization needed. I've tested only from home via lan and dyndns. |
