I gave it a good start but I'm sure it can be polished. Please have a look and contribute:

Maybe include a link to the current .08 torrent....

Great job. The LinHES entry is well written. There is also a "My Set Top Box.tv" below it that is a duplicate. If you can, you might want to remove it.

I believe the LinHES live scripts and such are based on larch, but you should ask jams about that if you want more back ground info. Also, you might want to mention that LinHES R6 includes XBMC on your VDPAU support entry.

Thanks guys. Added the R6 torrent link and the XBMC line. Also deleted the mysettopbox link.

I notice the at Brief History section is a bit out of date. It says that R6 is not the most recent version.

Might want to add the Hulu Desktop integration that will be added soon.

Perhaps put in a blurb about not adding the LinHES arch repos to a system using the normal Arch repos as that might cause instability and to use one or the other, but not both.

What's worse is, AFAIK, there is no torrent for the latest release! I would help seed it if there were...

@uteck - please feel free to make the changes you suggested. It's a wiki after all :)

@liv2cod - might wanna check w/ cesman. Perhaps you can make the torrent? I believe the official host is the mythic.tv tracker so you might wanna start there.

They don't host the tracker any more -- at least I haven't been able to find it in the last year or two. Maybe torrents aren't important since cesman migrated to a much better server.

Naw, Linux and BT have been wed forever. BT is the preferred method for distributing distros.

Update the wiki page with the new torrents: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Lin ... rnal_Links

Can a mod please move this thread to the LinHES>General section?
