Ok so I got everything installed and flowing cool. And I went to watch TV and all my channels were gone! Eventually I found a public access channel. I plugged the coaxial cable back into the TV and voila my channels are back. So my question is will my PVR-350 not pickup my cable's signal? I'm using Insight Cable. The problem is the cable guy called me and said he was too lazy to put a filter on (i'm a poor college student). So I have basic cable. So to flesh out my question does it seem my cable company has switched to digital leaving me out in the analog cold? Ryan |

Truly "basic" service (which usually consists of OTA channels, public, government and educational access, and CSPAN) is required to work without a cable box and be analog. If you can view channels on your TV without a cable box (coaxial plugged directly from wall into your TV) and your TV does not have a QAM tuner, this means your service is analog, and should work fine with your PVR-350. You might want to try deleting and re-creating your video sources, fetching the listings again, etc. |

Do you know where I could find out if it has that? I looked and the cable company has it listed as "standard" not digital. |
