All features of system work - recording, watching recordings, etc. EXCEPT, when I go to 'Watch TV', there is no picture - just a black, slightly fuzzy screen. All displays come up properly - channel number and program description..I just don't get a picture.

I checked all connections, everything is plugged in and working. Cable is working. Regular TV is working. I rebooted and reinstalled mythtv...but still doesn't work.

Is it possible you accidentally switched inputs in the Watch TV mode? I believe pressing "i" lets you cycle through your inputs. Maybe you are viewing a composite/s-video input by accident.

This is Cantator's wife responding...I'm trying to fix the problem while he's out...he's the guru, so excuse my ignorance!! I typed "i" in the 'Watch TV' mode. It took me to a display that kept running the signal percentage of one channel, it locked once, I clicked "OK" then it kept running the signal percentage. It didn't scroll thorugh channels. Am I in the right place? How do I find out which input is correct?
