Is it possible to switch the binding of the reboot/shutdown menu from the M key? I'd prefer to map that to a more useful function. I couldn't figure out where this was coming from......

(I would argue that putting this on a key is bad UI. Having 'reboot' in the menus was perfect because it didn't waste a key, you didn't have to try to remember what key it was on because you use it so infrequently, but you could find it in the menus easily. But i respect that the devs can make whatever decisions they like :)

cheers - j

It's your box, you can setup the menus how ever you'd like. I dunno about remapping the M key, but you can make a menu item in which ever xml menu you wish mapped to sudo reboot for example.

Code:
# updatedb
$ locate mainmenu

That should return the location of your mainmenu.xml which is one place you might wanna put it.
