| Post subject: | Visor Theme for .16? |
I just upgraded my fathers machine to .16 for him. He has limited eyesight and is quite used to the Visor theme. I hate to change it on him as he has learned where things are. However, the only copies of the Visor theme that I can find are not up to date with the new recording options screen and a few other things. I know it is fixable as a friend, who is currently away, has done so on his machine. Is there anyone out there who has a working .16 Visor theme and Visor OSD? If so could you please post it? Thanks in advance. -Jeff |

Are you using KnoppMyth R4V5? My visor theme works perfectly well and I have R4V5 which includes MythtTV .16. |

I am using R4V5 but it says the advanced recordings screen is missing... |

Ok, here is the fix. The original non-functioning file is here: /usr/share/mythtv/themes/visor/ui.xml Save the file below as "ui.xml" and make this root root 644 and replace the old one within the visor theme. (you can find the old one using locate visor | grep ui.xml). This will fix the missing recording options screen. Ideally we should get this in to the next build. You can wget the file from here or you can download it and scp it to your box. http://www.180days.dp.org/myth/ui.xml |
