Does the search function on this forum allow you to search for phrases in quotes. For example, I want to search for these two phrases: "geforce 3" & "TV out". Can this be done (am I missing something?). I hate to ask questions that have already been answered but sometimes a forum search comes up empty or super-broad...

The search function of PHPBB doesn't seem to be very sophisticated. In truth, there are not all that many messages in the search space, so the brute force approach works pretty well.

In your case, I would specify all four search terms and choose "search for all terms". This is VERY IMPORTANT or you'll get every post that contains at least one of the terms. (Is the "any term" mode useful to anyone? I've never benefitted from it.)

Then filter quickly through the messages it finds to see if any fit your criteria. It still suffers a bit from long threads -- they often contain the search terms somewhere in the pages they comprise, skewing the results. I generally look at the short threads first because of this.

You can also use this phrase in google:
"geforce" "TV out" site:mysettopbox.tv

But the google db is likely to be some older though...
