I have R5A10 up and running with most things working great. However, when I go to select RSS feeds, there is no longer a list for me to select from. Is there a config file I need to create/modify? R4V5 had a whole bunch of available feeds I could select from. |

i have found the same problem with my install as well. I can only get the ones i previously chose before the upgrade. But i can't choose anymore or delete the ones i have |

I had htis same problem, did a little looking around the file system I found that in /usr/share/mythtv/mythnews there is a file names news-sites.xml did a goold search on this and came accross http://cvs.mythtv.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/mythnews/mythnews/news-sites.xml?rev=1.9&view=log which mentions that there was a mistake in a previous version that prevented it being parsed correctly. it also provides a download link to that version I downloaded it, replaced the one I had, and everything started working. Not sure knoppmyth normally has a customised version of that file, but it seems to have all the links I'd expect and now that I'm on r5a10 I get the benefit of being able to link from the rss stuff into mythbrowser to actually see the dilbert cartoons! |
