I'm so frustrated. I upgraded to R5A12 after reading various messages of success. I backed up my XF86Config-4 file, and restored it afterwards. However, it cannot find the device /dev/fb1. Also, after restoring XF86Config-4, I no longer get X even on the monitor - it just can't start. Do I simply have to go through everything I did last time to get TV out on the PVR350 working? I thought it kept settings like that. The wiki only told me to back up the one file. I've also got DNS server resolution problems, so I can't seem to connect to the internet at all... which causes problems for downloading patches. Edited to add: I can cat recorded files to /dev/video16 and they play perfectly. It appears to be solely a problem with the frame buffer and/or my XF86 configuration. Any ideas? Amorya |

search on "pvr-350" and see about a script I put together. It's currently only for R4v5, but within a day or two I'm posting a new version which will also work for R5A12. It takes a new install (assumes you got live tv working already via vga) and will then work to setup tv out and x via PVR-350 output.
