I recently upgraded to R5A12. Everything is good so far. So I tried to add another tuner card (Pinnacle PCTV pro - bttv). I had stability problems in R4V5 before but so far this seems to work except for sound. I searched the forum and found some help but it did not fix the problem. I have setup PVR 350 as card one and Pinnacle as card 2. The video is good. But the audio is not coming good. I tried alsamixer. I could not make it "capture mode" when I hit spacebar. If I unmute the "Line" the audio is always on. I also noticed the audio was recorded for few minutes in a 30 min. recording. and it was not in sync. I am not sure how to fix this. I also noticed by default it is recording from bttv card. I prefer the quality of my 350 card. How do I make it record from this card so I can watch live tv on bttv card. So I need help here. 1. How to make the audio work 2. How to make it in sync. 3. How to make PVR as default recording, if I have only one recording at a time. Thanks. SIVA |

Did you ever figure out te problem with the audio? I have the PCTV (regular version) and its working fine exept for the audio. I get no sound just a constant TAP sound every second or so. I have the following line on the BTTV file options bttv card=39 tuner=2 and nothing. Thanks in advance for your help. |
