i am currently using R5A10 but what ever i tried, the tv-ot is not working, so probably anone else here is using the same hardware and can give me some tips.

The chipset is SiS 740/ SiS315.

i can understand that the provided informations are not detailed enough, but hey when not know what to deliver (i mean knoppix/linux) has many logfiles and configurations files, if i can provide any other helpfull information rather then the delivered ones please tell me

anyway i followed the knoppmyth install instructions

and i follwed the TV out part.

instalation runs through, when the x-server starts, normal crt works but nothing on TV, tried different bios settings , followed some pages

but all without luck, so til now tv-out is not working (and that means the tv screen stays black)

ok have you tried searching the forums here there are numerous threads about tvout, plus I believe there is a walkthrough on the wiki all of which will be knoppmyth specific. The biggest thing we'll need to know it what kind of video card you are using.
