Ok, so I was looking at my new Hauppauge Silver remote, with all the cool as-yet-unassiagned buttons on the top. You know the one...



...and I had a question. The question was whether I could use lirc and my tweaked lircrc to have lirc trigger a script to run. After a search of the forum, my question was answered by this thread. This got me thinking more industriously than usual, and I started wondering, is there a script linked to any/all of the modules of MythTV? For example, can I start MythMusic with the "Music" button, open the gallery with the "Pictures" button, etc. Can I assign a previous channel script to the "Previous Channel" button? I am thinking that this is possible, as cursor-ing through the UI and hitting enter probably just tells it to run such a script. Being a recent Apple convert (whore), I am looking to do things in as few clicks as possible. So the MAIN question is, of course...

...where can i find the paths to these scripts?

you are actually incorrect. cursoring through the interface simply transmits button presses to mythtv just as if you hit the same key on the keyboard.

This is not to say that there isn't someway to script or bind a key to a module in mythtv, but I wouldn't think it's already in place like you are thinking.
