Im in the process of building my mythtv box. I dont know if it matters but here are my specs:

AMD duron 1.8
Biostar M7VIG 400 MB
256MB DDR
120GB 7200rpm HDD
PVR350

Anyway just for testing purposes I have my gamecube's output going into the pvr350's svideo input. The thing is, it isnt live. There is about a 5 second delay in the video. I know this wont matter when I plug the cable tv line into it but I was just wondering if this is normal? Is there a way to actually view the real live input coming in? Thanks!

Yes, it isn't live. I'd say the usual delay is about 3 to 5 secs. 20 sounds way too long. BTW, hooking up the output of a console isn't the best way to test...
