Is there a way to go directly to a module such as myth music via a keyboard command. Something like alt-m or whatever. I didn't find anything on this in the docs so not sure if it's an option.. I'm looking to automate a couple things like starting music without having to switch on the TV.

Thanks!

there are jumpkeys, but I don't think mythmusic has one.

Thanks!

In Mythweb go to settings, key bindings. You can define the key bindings there. I think you have to restart mythfrontend for them to take effect.

Well shoot, the mythweb keybinding jumppoints looks exactly like what I wanted but I can't get them to save/bind. No mater what I put in or change it dumps the form (restarting front end dose not apply changes).

I found a note that you can't have a "." in your server name but I don't (mythtv-backend and mythtv-livroom).

Dose anyone know a fix for this?

running 5A15.1

Ok still not sure what the problem was but I guess it didn't like the - in the names maybe.
I fixed this by setting a unique identifyer in the mysql.txt file in the /home/mythtv/ on the frontend (I used "mythlivroom")
I was then able to to go to the web interface on the backend and select the new name for the frontend and save changes, and they work (even better!). Seems like some screwy (picky) mythweb issue rather then a KnoppixMyth issue but I just wanted to close this out a bit in case anyone else searches about it.
