Hi!

I have been trying to find a way to load the entire CD into RAM to do 2 things:

1. Free up my single DVD Drive to play/burn DVD's from my diskless frontend.

2. Have things load MUCH faster, and sleep less often.

It looks like there was a way to this with knoppix, although it doesn't seem to be working currently, but the command to pass at boot time was:
knoppix tomem

So I tried:
knoppmyth tomem

But, nothing seems to be different.

Is this possible?

not sure if that is possible, but if you are simply wanting the frontend you may want to look at the network boot option.
