OK I'm trying to download a recorded program from my mythbox to my gentoo box to do editing . The problem is when I go to download , the file size is wrong , example 368Meg is being dowbnloaded when it should be 4.4G . I swear I've seen a fix but for the life of me I cannot find it any where . Anybody have a clue ? Is it an apache thing ? Please help .

Thanks Paul

Are you using apache to download it? I always use scp.
scp -C /myth/tv/filename.nuv username@gentooip:/home/username
Just put in your gentoo usernames password..

I gave that to you backwards... If you are on your gentoo box, in your users home directory then do this:
scp -C mythtv@ip.of.mythbox/myth/tv/filename.nuv .

No I'm not using apache to download it sorry if I'm not clear . I'm just going into it with my browser and clicking on the file I want to download. I'll try your way to see if that works.

Thanks

I think it's a limitation of the http protocol.
