Im new to linux and PVR, so was wondering, can someone answer these queries i have... and generally just give me any tips relating to these areas.



What does this refer to ? I have a DVB-T card, does the TV not feed directly to the card.. like a normal TV would ?

Also it mentions changing resolution if using a TV... as i will be using a monitor to set it up, then putting it on a TV later... where do i change the config file ?

Finally, i have a remote for my TV card, which id like to use to navigate... how do i set this up ? it plugs into a small headphone jack like connector on the back of my TV card.

PS ... KnoppMyth is a Windows MCE alternative isnt it ? Just to check im not completely wasting my time Id use MCE, but my TV tuner isnt compatable... and this software sounds nice.

Hope someone can clear these things up for me.
