Were do I copy the AVI or Mpeg file to on the Myth box so I can play it from MythTV?

If you are using KnoppMyth and have not changed the default configuration, place the files in /myth/video. You can do this using SMB, NFS or SCP. Search the forum for greater details. Once you have the files there, use the Video Manager so MythTV "sees" them. Again, search the forum for greater details.
