Hi there, After accidently killing my R5A15 install I reinstalled with R5A16 and have noticed that the "Change channels Immediately without select" checkbox does not seem to be updating the database. I prefer to press select to change the channels however browse mode is not enabled even if I uncheck the checkbox. this worked OK for me in R5A15. the menu item can be found here Quote: Utilities/Setup - Setup - TV Settings - General - 1st screen executing the following in mythconverg fixed the problem Quote: update settings set data='1' where value='PersistentBrowseMode'

If you look at the contents of the database, does the setting appear twice? I seem to remember having some problems like you are describing when I munged my database and ended up with multiple entries for a number of settings. |

I checked this and the entry only appears once. I did do a fresh install which is why i thought it might be an R5A16 issue - maybe if someone else can verify i will know if it is just my system... to clarify, this worked on my R5A15 install |
