Hello, i've tried to search and came up with the ctrl + alt + (-,+) which doesn't work for me. I setup my mythbox on a good crt i have. It seems the resolution has now defaulted to something high that my projector can't display. I tried changing my lilo.conf to normal without any luck. Everything else is working well. Just need to set the resolution to 1024x768 to get this working. It must be easy, i'm just having problems finding it. I read somewhere about it auto detecting. Did i read that wrong, i have tried to restart the computer with each display attached with the same results. The projector does display the boot sequence till x starts. Thanks for any input.

my guess would be it's not the resolution, but the refresh rates that are causing havock with your monitor. find what your monitor needs. most lcd's expect 60 or 75 hz vert refresh this is probably your problem.
