After a month of playing and tweaking I seem to have a rather stable setup that I'm pleased with. In fact, the configuration has gone so smooth that I returned my cable company's PVR unit way ahead of schedule!

The next step is to add a second tuner. Currently, I have a single PVR-250MCE in the system.
Ideally, I'd like to add a PVR-500(MCE), but am concerned with support for this card. My motherboard has a VIA based chipset, which I've read may cause problems with the PVR-500. Also, it seems like KnoppMyth isn't easily configured to support a PVR-500. My other option is to pop in a 2nd 250MCE, which will probably suffice, but given the success I've had so far, I'm really leaning towards adding a remote frontend in the office and so the 3rd tuner is likely going to be needed. And since 1 500 is half the price of 2 250s I'd definitely like to add a 500 if it's not going to be too much trouble.
If I go with a 250, is it a matter of just popping the card in and booting back up and KnoppMyth will recognize the new card and set it all up or am I going to have to manually setup a new device under /dev, edit config files, etc. along with (re)configuring MythTV?
What's all involved with configuring a PVR-500? I've seen some threads referring to a wiki site, but it seems to be down at the time of this writing so I haven't been able to read too much on the 500 other than to see that some had very little, if any, problems while others have struggled.
Help appreciated.
