I accidently deleted 3 files from /usr/local/bin & I would be very appreciative if someone could email me a copy of them from your install. I'm on Knoppmyth V5A16 & the 3 files I need are:

ptuni-ui.pl ptune.pl pvr.pl

You should be able to recover those from the CD image...

- boot with the CD in rescue mode

- check to see if the fles are there

- mount /dev/hda1

- copy the files from the CD image to the mounted HD. Something like:

cp /usr/local/bin/p*.pl /mnt/hda1/usr/local/bin/

A search should tunr up more detailed instructions from Cecil

tjc, good idea -- that makes sense. I'll try that next time, althought I hope I don't make the same mistake again and need to do something like this...
