The box is currently on 5A12. I'm going to upgrade now, but see if any of you have any idea about this problem. It runs fine for a while. Then it will stop working, and refuse to boot X. Upon inspection, it turns out that / is 100% full. Upon further inspection, 40% of that space is taken up by logs (somewhere in /var). When the logs are deleted the computer will boot once more. The computer is a Semperon running at 1.5Ghz, with a PVR350 card used for both input and output. The hard drive is 160GB, and it was partitioned automatically by Knoppmyth upon install. This problem has occurred even after a complete reformat and reinstall. Amorya |

Find the big log file and see what the message in it is. If that doesnt help you work itout, post the message here. |

OK, will do so when it does it again. Have just reinstalled, and it's running fairly sweetly at the moment. Amorya |
