I upgraded my test backend server from R5A12 to R5A16, and it all seemed to go well enough. All the old recordings were restored properly, etc.

However, my frontend is playing the pre-existing (and new) recordings, and Live TV, with an incorrect aspect ratio -- they look *square*. Changing the ratio to 16:9 (which is NOT what they should be) makes it look almost right, but I don't think that's *exactly* it either. I set up a second frontend, and it also plays them with the wrong aspect ratio. So I installed a better video card in the backend (the one that was there, an ancient Matrox Mystique, couldn't keep up with video), installed the nvidia drivers, and it too plays videos and Live TV with the wrong aspect ratio. (Please bear in mind that before the upgrade these same files played back with the proper aspect ratios on two different frontends, but I never played them directly on the backend).

One more thing: when I'm browsing existing videos, the little preview box shows the videos with the CORRECT aspect ratio.

Any ideas?
