I went to the rdt1.org download site and the download file hangs with 5 sec left. I thought I might have done something to hang it the first time, but I left it alone for about 15 minutes the second time. The file size on the site is 506 Mb and the size of the downloaded files is 518146 Kb for both. I hate to go through with the setup process if this isn't correct.

Any help is appreciated.

I am just starting into this and I don't know what I'm doing, but be that as it may. I did look at the md5sums and the version? is the same as on the website. That file downloaded without a problem since it was so small. The big file is the one that hung up at the 5 sec. left to copy. I guess I was just wondering why the size on the ftp site is smaller than what I downloaded and if anyone else has this problem.

search the website for md5sum there are utilities you can get for windows to check the md5sum or in linux you can do md5sum -c filename.md5sums to check and make sure your binary download matches the md5sum.
