fleetdc,

Those errors are the same onese you would get with the older mythburn stuff. Not sure that your upgrade was complete. Did you run install.sh?

I did another upgrade of mythburn from CVS and it works! I then tried using it now I get a new error.

Due to changes in CVS, mythburn is being rewritten (as a search of the forum would have yield). I'm sure the spit2k1 will post once he is done working on the revised version.

I've got this similar set of errors. Something amiss with the script which calls mplex toward the end?

I'm using a fresh install of Knoppmyth R5A30.1 with no non-standard programs (other than the addition of a DECSS library, of course). I am using the MPEG2 files produced by the Hauppauge PVR-150, without transcoding prior to using MythBurn from the MythWeb interface.

I also have had no luck whatsoever with the Nuv2Disc in the Knoppmyth interface - it claims to have transcoded a file without ever transcoding anything (takes a microsecond to complete) and won't let me author a DVD using the standard MPEG2 files or any other file.

I understand that MythBurn is being updated, but should the one included with R5A30.1 work at all?

(EDIT) It seems there is a problem with the variable "audio" being set in the mpeg2cut-px.sh script. Is there a known issue? Here's how it is set in the script I've got:
audio=`${myfolder}/scripts/prepare_audio.sh ${myfolder} ${base}_X.log ${videoformat} ${recode_ntsc}`
Which apparently is expanded as the version info for ffmpeg or some such.
