i have a last problem with mythtv:

i have a pvr250 and it gives me a mpeg stream with pal resolution.
but when i record a show with mythweb, the resulting nuv file has a resolution of 480x480. how do i changed that? i want the original mpeg stream from the card, not a converted one.

The recording resolution is controled by the "Recording Profile" selection. I don't recall what the default profile ("Default") is set to by default, but based on what you are experiencing, it's probalby 480x480. You need to go into the set screens of the myth frontend and modify the configuration of the recording profile "Default". I'm not in front of my machine, so I can't give you the exact sequence, but it's not difficult to find. Probably under something like "setup". I do not believe you can modify these settings through "mythweb", but once you make this configuration change through the standard front-end, it won't be an issue.
