Is R5A22 SATA still Manual Install?
If so, does this mean that the nvidia drivers are still installed manually via the script after the install?

I did read the announcement and there is nothing in there. I also read what release notes I could find. Nothing there either. Since I was having so much trouble with manual install followed by the nvidia script in R5A16, I thought it was worth asking. But since you said none of that has changed, I guess I am out of luck and back to being stuck. :(

I cannot really quote myself, but from the announcement:
Quote:
* nVidia drivers now auto-install on first boot.

Ya saw that. Way to vague for me. For example:
What's the first boot?
Boot off CD?
Boot off HD for install?
Boot off HD for Myth?
Also the term auto-install could imply a relationship to auto-install of KnoppMyth in general.
Communicating an idea from one person to another is complicated and much harder than most people think. Communications in general is pretty hard.
For Example I asked two questions in a post above. You supplied one answer (or maybe two depending on how your reply is interpreted). I interpreted the answer for both question to be “yes”. I now know the seconds answer should "No." “No”, one does not need to install the nvidia drivers manually via the script after the install.
Now as to my other question about SATA auto installs, this is not referenced at all in the announcement or the release notes. So I am still not sure about the answer for that. But Since the nvidia drivers should be automatic now, I will probably try the install and find out for myself.
So to reiterate, Communications is complicated. You may not be as clear as you think you are. Please be patient.

I'm a person of few words. Yes to first question. The statement was in response to your second question. As of it being too vague, sorry I'm not a communications major.
