| Post subject: | R5A22 NTP in use? |
I've rebuilt my MythTV box and installed R5A22... Under A16, I had to run ntpdate as the clock drift was horrific, I've just tried to setup ntpdate using cron as I did before, but I'm getting this msg - 24 Oct 22:55:23 ntpdate[11423]: the NTP socket is in use, exiting Although I did manage to run it once, now it won't let me again? I can't see it running under PS... Any ideas? Lee Athlon XP 2400, Abit NF7 mobo, GF4 video, 512MB ram, 250GB Samsung drive, LiteOn DVD, fresh install of R5A22 |

Code: update-rc.d -f ntp-server remove
/etc/init.d/ntp-server stop |
