First thanks for KnoppixMyth. After strugeling with getting MythTV to work with Ubuntu Breezy (I tried installing from breezy source, stable svn and latest svn) I now have a working install.

what I cant work out is what the story is with sources.list. There is all sorts of stuff in there including debian experimentel (which is really scary). I tried doing an apt-get dist-upgrade but there seem to be broken dependencies. I ended up adding testing and unstable and reming out experimentel and things seem to of worked. It would be great if there were comments for the sources saying what they are all for.

Am I going about thing wrong, is the idea to simply use apt-get install to get stuff not included and waiting for the next release to do an upgrade? I can kind of c this but it would make it difficult to update the stuff installed with apt-get install (I supose I could remove/install but I would have to note down all the new stuff I have added).

Regards,
Ben

You're probably going to need to reinstall KnoppMyth. If you look around you'll find that it is strongly recommended NOT to do a dist-upgrade. It breaks dependencies and generally hoses things up. Good luck.
