Post subject:  OpenGL app displayed on remote system? What are my options?

Somewhat related to knoppmyth, more about Linux and X in general. Here is my situation:

I have my myth box in the living room. It works well. My desktop in my living room is on the network via 802.11g. I play Warcraft III via cedega on the desktop. Even with 70 channels of cable and all of my recordings, there isn't always a lot to watch. What I'd like to do is hook something up where i can switch over and watch the current game being played on the desktop from the myth box.

The only way I can think to do this is to forward an X session to the mythtv box from my desktop, but i've never done this before. As such, I have a few concerns about the approach.

1) Is it even possible to run two X clients on a host and switch back and forth (via remote & lirc)?

2) will opengl apps translate over network X connections?

3) Can I set up two X clients to the same X server? (one local on the desktop...one remote from the myth box to view ala vncviewer?)

Anyone have any suggestions or ideas on how to set this up?

Thanks

-Brian
