I used to have the IMDB lookup working on a R5A16 install I was using, but I hosed it in a botched kernel upgrade. Anyhow, from a fresh install of R5A16 the imdb script is not working for me, either in menu, or from the command line. It will find matches based by title, but will not download movie info or posters.
R5A22 came out recently, and I just got around to installing it (fresh install), and I'm getting the exact same errors.

a good few hours of scouring search engines, just about all I came up with is this mythtv mailing list thread from June 2004, and whatever solved his problems, did not help me in the slightest.

update: on a fluke, I tried "aliens", and it actually worked as expected.

I can get "aliens" to return data every 3 tries or so, but so far no luck with any other title even after 10 tries.

allocine.pl in the same directory (french version of imdb) works fine every time. Somebody please help. Did IMDB change something recently, or am I having a user_agent or DNS problem?
