I have a question about mythbrowser. All of the last 2 mythtv updates (1.3, 1.4) don't have mythbrowser debs. Any particular reason for that? Does anybody know if mythbrowser is going to be added any time soon? Also, if I compile mythbrowser myself, will it appear in the mythtv menu after compiliation or is there some extra rigging i have to do to have it as a menu item? TIA |

I think the main reason is because the qtlibs are not loaded in knoppmyth so mythbrowser won't compile. I've been told it will be in R5. I am not a developer so don't quote me on either issue. |

I've address this issue already... MythBrowser requires the kde-devel packages which is broken. Updating it may break the system. MythBrowser will be included in the next full release. |

Thanks for the heads up, I would have been really bummed if I messed the system up. The r4v2 release is working great for me. It installed right out of the box... with the exception of my PIP problem. I'll post that in a more appropriate place though... |
