I have a VIA M10000 motherboard up and running almost perfectly now using R5A22, however I've come up against one problem that's got me stumped.
I use SPDIF for my sound and I get sound when watching live TV or recodings within myth, but if I launch mplayer or xine via myth to load an avi I get no sound at all which is very puzzling...
I *may* have changed some settings in alsamixer a while ago, according to the spif config guide on the wiki but I did the same on R5A16 without any problems..
I'm really confused, does anybody have any suggestions where to look at troubleshooting? I'm all out of ideas
