What does "current release" mean?

Post subject:  What does "current release" mean?

I see on the main Knoppmyth web page that the "current release" is still R5A16, even though R5A22 and now R5A26 have both been available for a while. Are the latter considered pre-release somehow? IOW, should those of us qrunning R5A16 stick with it until something newer is the considered the "current release"?

Or is that "R5A16" just a typo?

probably not a typo, most likely just noone bothered to update that page yet. I would think that at this point the current release would be R5A26.

Not only that, but if you try to look at the "mother" ftp server you don't even see R5A26 although most of the mirrors have it:
