| Post subject: | R4A26 Ati Remote using LIRC |
I just put the R4A26 version on my computers. I answered yes to the question regarding using LIRC instead of the kernel driver. However, no keypress on the remote does anything. I even re-ran /usr/local/bin/lirc-reconfig.sh. I ran irw and no keypress shows up. I verified that both lircd and lircrc are using ATI remote. Both computers are doing the same thing and both computers' remotes were working before. Is there something I am missing? |

I had same problem, my ATI remote wonder model is #5000023600. I appended WIKI howto of what I did to fix. http://www.knoppmythwiki.org/index.php?page=ATIRemote Start at the "ATI Remote Wonder using LIRC" section. |

It looks like the lircd.conf file is corrupted. Can you re-upload it? |

I reuploaded the files on the WIKI, had to use gzip format as was having trouble uploading in .tar. I changed the directions to reflect extracting from .tar.gz format. Sorry about the confusion and how long took me to fix.
