Happy New Year to all!

I've been pretty good about figuring MythTV out for myself but I've run into a snag that I can't seem to figure out.

Here's the issue, I'm exporting my .nuv files using nuvexport using the DVD option. When the export is complete I try to use TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6 to create the DVD. I add the newly created .mpg file and I get this error message:

***

*The video bitrate 104857 kbps is too high for a standard DVD.

The video bitrate 104857 kbps is too high for a standard DVD.
The maximum video bitrate allowed for a standard DVD is 9.8 Mbps (9800 kbps).

Here is the walkthrough code for nuvexport:

Code:
You have chosen to export 1 episode:

  1. The Backyardigans:
     Race Around the World (11/23/2005, 4:00 PM) 720x480 MPEG2 (4:3)
     No Description

* Separate multiple episodes with spaces

  c. Continue
  n. Choose another show
  q. Quit

Choose a function, or episode(s) to remove:  c
Where would you like to export the files to? [.]
Enable Myth cutlist? [Yes]
Enable noise reduction (slower, but better results)? [Yes]
Enable deinterlacing? [Yes]
Crop broadcast overscan (2% border)? [Yes]
Audio bitrate? [192]
VBR quality/quantisation (1-31)? [5]

Now encoding:  The Backyardigans:  Race Around the World
Encode started:  Mon Jan  2 15:29:18 2006
Waiting for mythtranscode to set up the fifos.
Waiting for mythtranscode to set up the fifos.
Starting ffmpeg.
processed:  9716 of 26775 frames (36.29%),   3.21 fps

I understand that the bitrate is too high but how do I tell nuvexport to export at a lower bitrate? Or do I need to convert the source export using another program? It is my understanding that nuvexport should transcode the file correctly for DVD creation. Do I need to setup something different in Myth so the bitrate is different?

Thanks,

Cableguy
