ive just installed R5A30, configuring mythtv-setup and added standard V4L as the capture card (im running an avermedia hybrid dvb-t)

and then tried to add tv_grab_au as my video source, but when it attempts to grab the xmltv listing it goes straight to 50% and then hangs there all day doing nothing..

no action on the ethernet... so its not stuck trying to access the net..
i can ctrl+alt+f2 back to terminal.. but that doesnt make the grab succeed..


is there anymore info i could provide which could help?

ive looked around a bit but couldnt find anyone else who had this problem, strangely enough.

All you need to do is alt-tab. Basically it lauches a terminal with xmltv in, but it pops up behind mythtv-setup

shame there is no feed... so i still end up without tv listings...

oh well.. now just to get a picture happening..
