I see there's an updated version of mythweb that allows the execution of user jobs. I'm currently running R5A22 but don't know how to upgrade just mythweb. I found this site http://cvs.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/7 It describes the new functionality. Will upgrading to/installing 5A30 give me these new features? Incidentally I've got myth2ipod working manually but I want it to run automatically once a recording finishes that I've scheduled via mythweb. Thanks |

no upgrading knoppmyth will not get you this, as a matter of fact R5A22 unintentionally has a newer version than the latest. To get that you would have to get the latest source from SVN and compile yourself, but be wary I've heard that various of the recent SVN versions are very quirky. Also you will have to update all of mythtv not just mythweb. |

Can you think of any other ways to run User Jobs autmatically after a mythweb scheduled recording then? Thanks |
