Lastnight, I turned my TV on and decided to watch live TV. All I go was a black screen and pressing escape did not get me back to the GUI. ALT-F3, ALT-F7 got me back to the menu. Fortunately.
I believe the lack of picture/lockup was due to a channel stopping broadcasting.
I was able to resolve this by setting both tuners to record a programme through the programme guide. This reset the channel each tuner was set to.
Fine, all working again. But it's all a bit inelegent. Is there a way of setting the Mythbox to always return to a starting channel? Channel 1 for example (BBC1 in my case)?
