The default XF86 works fine on the monitor only The XF86Config-4.nvidia-tvout.sample works fine on TV only. Does anyone have a sample XF86Config-4 for NForce2-IGP with Monitor+TV working at the same time. Ideally SVideo/PAL, though TV is MultiSync. Also any default settings to tweak the colours or links to guide greatly appreciated. I have spent a few hours looking but nothing has come up. Ideally the TV would work in 16x9 at 800x600 (or 720x576 - what's best?) while the TFT works in 4:3 at 1024x768, though if both are at 1024x768 that'd prolly work OK. I just want a permanant clone. Surely someone must know how to do this? I've been trying for 24 hours now and I can still only get either TV or Monitor but not both. I've read the nvidia release notes |

There is a section that talks about some of the twinview settings that might help you at: http://www.knoppmythwiki.org/index.php? ... Transition |

I've read this and EVERY document I can find. Is there a busier forum to get help with this sort of thing anyone can recommend. 14 hours of googling and 100+ XF86Config-4 permutations later and still no joy. Currently neither monitor OR TV work - LOL I'm wondering if clone view is broken under linux. Is there a different card I have to buy as nforce2-IGP doesn't seem to support it. Do people just run 2 MythTV's one for the TV and 1 for the monitor/projector? |

There's a TwinView example (NTSC unfortunately) in the Tier 2 posting for my old Shuttle box. The main thing you would have to change are the TV standard and the Horz. & Vert. sync rates, which would probably also mean generating new modelines.... (Basically all the timing related stuff) However I can't recommend it since TwinView comes with a number of disadvantages. |
