I have both a projector and an old TV connected to my knoppmyth machine, and I'd like to switch between them when there's too much sunlight in the room for the projector. I found a couple threads which discuss how to swap out the X configuration using a remote button such as this one : http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4157

The problem is that the TV-out on my nvidia card looks terrible when compared with the output from my PVR-350. I'd like to find a way to toggle the "Use PVR-350 for output" setup option using the same script that I came up with to swap the X config. I have a feeling it could be easily done with a little carefully crafted SQL. However the database schema section of the MythTV wiki is mostly incomplete, including the "settings" table so I don't have much to go on. Before I go and destroy my database, has anyone ever tried anything like this or does anyone know the name of the field I need to tweak in the database?
