Hi all: I've got a clean copy of KnoppMyth R5A30.2 installed with no mythburn-related tweaks. I've tried a few times to make a DVD, but mythburn fails every time. Code: size= 83956kB time=3582.1 bitrate= 192.0kbits/s
size= 84224kB time=3593.5 bitrate= 192.0kbits/s [59:56] Decoding of 1002_20060210220000_20060210230000.mpa.old finished. Warning can't rewind WAV file. I did notice that the file it was supposed to create was missing prior to my execution. I su'ed to www-data to ensure identical permissions. The command executed fine, no errors or warnings. As I said, this is an out-of-the-box config. I get the impressions from others that mythburn on recent knoppmyth releases, "Just Works". What's up? The only thing I can think of is that my recordings are 480x480 (generated from PVR-500); I remember with early versions of mythburn that they needed to be 720x480. Any other suggestions? --Jim |

ok here is the deal, mythburn moves over the .nuv file and it doesnt replace the permissions on the nuv file itself to www-data. I dont know how to change the perm to www-data after the file is moved without jumping in quickly and chown it. There must me something screwy with the mythburn code. If I run the script with the mythtv user or root it runs fine. Anyone?? This is what the error is: Code: INFO: [mplex] mplex version 1.6.2 (2.2.3 $Date: 2004/01/13 20:45:26 $)

I'm having a similar problem with mythburn...maybe the same. Except it doesn't matter which user I su to, it always fails with the same error. I see the same error message: Warning can't rewind WAV file. File-format isn't fully conform now. It doesn't happen if I don't select the Transcode first audio track to AC3 for NTSC DVD option. |
