Some people have mentioned problems with frozen-bubble under r4v2. I happpen to be one of them. I tried starting it up under X to see what happens and I get this error:

Can't load '/usr/lib/perl5/auto/SDL_perl/SDL_perl.so' for module SDL_perl: libGL.so.1: cannot handle TLS data at /usr/lib/perl/5.8/DynaLoader.pm line 225.
at /usr/lib/perl5/SDL.pm line 9
Compilation failed in require at /usr/lib/perl5/SDL.pm line 9.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/lib/perl5/SDL.pm line 9.
Compilation failed in require at /usr/games/frozen-bubble line 52.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/games/frozen-bubble line 52.

Checked google for this problem, but only reports of problems, not solutions. Anybody have any?

what kind of video card do you have and what drivers are you running?

I'm using an nvidia geforce 4mx, using the nvidia, not nv driver.

This error I have looks like a perl error, no?

Also, this prog used to work for me on r4, now it does not work on r4v2.
