Just quick question:

I'm living in Poland. My MythTV (R5A22) is working beatifully.
Myth database is filled with UTF-8 encoded XMLTV file.
Accessing shows listings via MythWeb gives proper national characters - so I'm assuming my XMLTV file has proper UTF-8 encodings.
Unfortunately Titles/Descr/ProgGuide. presented by MythFrontend on TV have wrong national characters.
Is it bug, or should I configure something in Myth ?
Maybe it is font problem ?

is there already a solution for this problem?
i've got such "display errors" for the german characters ä,ü,ö, ... in MythWeb and OSD with R5C7.

Unfortunatly my problem is still not resolved
On MythTV forums nobady even tries to help me.
(In fact I'm wonder what particular makes that peoples calls these forums "very helpful" and "full of help" ?)
In my case national chars in OSD are OK.
Problems are in EPG, Recorded Show listings, etc. In fact only OSD is OK. Rest - not.
Suplied via XMLTV data is OK, because in MythWeb all is OK. Also in my diskless frontend (based on Minimyth) ALL national chars are OK. IMHO problem lays in KnoopMyth underlaying Linux fonts.
IMHO KnoppMyth authors are very conservative in maintenance area (main priority is in stability. Strategy is don't fix if ain't broken).
If You compare MiniMyth internals with KnoppMyth: minimyth is VERY clean and vell orgnized, and Knopp looks like few years storage of various tools thrown in constant way without cleaning and with little hausekeeping
But I have to admit: Knopp is stable and usefull - so I shouldn't complain.

If You will able resolve nation.charrs issue - pls let me know !
