With all this theme building going on, anyone want to submit something for an official KnoppMyth theme and OSD?
Themes I like:
GANT
Titivillus
Visor
Retro

What I don't like about some themes:
Having to scroll thru the text to see all options. For instances, with GANT looking at the main menu, I can see all my options. With Retro, I cannot.

What I don't want:
Bright cartoon colors.
Anything that makes it look like some other PVR software (think MCE).

As far as OSDs, I think I'm a minimalist... I don't want anything that takes up too much of the screen. Transparent would be nice.

I'll second that!

Uh-huh... Bright colors bad. But you can go too far the other direction too. G.A.N.T. and Titivillus don't have enough contrast in some places and at 800x600 the recorded programs listings are unreadable to me as a result.

Yeah. What I want from an OSD is a clear display of all the info (unnecessarily truncated descripts are annoying), which still maximizes the amount of the picture I can see.

I wote for GANT, i use it on my 32" LCD at 1360x768 and it looks amazing. But I have to scroll one item on the front page.

Maybe we should make a poll to see what theme people use.

Edit: there is a poll going on here

That is very easy to change.

Doing above has made me like Retro much more.

I know there is a poll going on... The point isn't to choose the most popular in the poll. If someone thinks they can come up with something from scratch, that would be great.
