Hey I'm looking for suggestions for a second tuner (considering a dual tuner as well) to put into my amd 1500 512 mb ram with pvr 350. I know that there is the pvr 250 for a one tuner option and then the 150 and 500 options. I have read how the 150 differs from the 250 but not really sure how compatable they are with ivtv. I've heard conflicting things when it come to plugand play compatablitily. Any comments or suggestions are welcome. THanks in advance

I use a pvr-500 along with my pvr-350. Absolutly no problems. All the hauppauge pvr cards should work for you.

The only driver issues with any of the cards appear when hauppauge switches to a new tuner chip. When that happens the ivytv developers usally have an updated driver ready in a week or so. But it might take longer then that for the new driver to be intrigrated into knoppmyth. You can always install the updagted driver yourself though.

There is a page on the wiki which summarizes the differences, if that's to vague for you why not go straight to the horse's mouth and read the specs on the Hauppauge website?

If you search the forums you should also find a detailed comparision of these around here somewhere.
