Hi I just have a really quick question.

I want to know how I can access the main myth configuration screen. The screen that im talking about is the first screen you see when you are setting up your tuner cards and zap2it connection.

The reason for this is because I was using a wireless game adapter and the thing pooped out so when it was time for the tv guide listings to be updated it failed. Now I dont know how to get it to reupdate the program listings even though I am now on a wired connection. I figure that going back to this main setup screen will force myth to updat the channel data again.

I might be totally wrong or there might be an easier way to do this I could really use the help.

Oh yeah did I mention im a complete Linux NOOB!
I also searched this topic and came up with no helpful threads.

Alt-2 stop the backend
Alt-S run mythtv-setup
Alt 3 restart the backend

Thanks for the reply those are good commands to remember.

Unfortunately I was wrong on my assumption that just getting back to this screen would force myth tv to update the program guide.

If anyone else knows how to update the program guide I would really appreciate the help.

Thanks again Greg
