Rest assured, there is a release with 0.19. 0.19 isn't the only thing new in this release and the testers are trying to shake out the little things. The release could hit the mirrors as early as this weekend or as late as next Wednesday. For those that don't want to auto-upgrade, I'll release diffs that can be applied to the source and produce debs. You can read the changelog once the release is made to see what is new.

Well it will be a little later... But, this will be the best release since R5A22. Don't worry, the testers are hitting it right and left...

I'll 2nd that. I know people would much rather have a stable release when it's ready rather than an unstable release quickly! Keep up the exemplary work.

It has been stated that R5A22 users should no upgrade until there is a release with MythTV 0.19. As the next release will include 0.19, I'll leave the math to you.

just was wondering if the testers are running into the same problems that it looks like are patched with a 19.1 bug fix release. Are thoes patches being included?

I'm sorry I couldn't help myself, I didn't notice any new posts asking this.

Based on the comments I'm pretty excited especially if this is being compared to R5A22. I got the furthest with that version and as stated by others I'm sure its going to be worth the wait.

no one is letting anything slide, there have been several test versions, but there are still quite a few bugs being found and fixed, and it would just overload everyone if we released a buggy product (and no I'm not guaranteeing 0 bugs on release :D ) but it's looking to be a very good release.

0.19 was a big change, but rest assured it is being worked on as quickly as possible.

I for one am just excited to see a new release on its way. No rush at all, i'd much rather have less issues later, then something to download and cause stress now. THanks again guys for such a good package, not sure how i got by before.
