Is there a best way to upgrade Apache? The version that ships with KnoppMyth is 1.3 which has a problem with IE and does not support the AuthDigestEnableQueryStringHack fature. |

I did just that on my R4V5 install, apt-get install apache2. You will need to get the PHP files for apache2 and i believe the mysql stuff for it. Then configure apache to your liking (port to listen on, security, etc,) stop the old apache 1 and start the new one with /etc/init.d/apache2 (the old apache is just /etc/init.d/apache). If by me doing the apt-get for apache 2 did not break my R4V5 install then your R5 one is safe. |

I think it will brake mythweb if you 'apt-get install apache'. The easiest fix is to use firefox to connect to mythweb. |
